With a personality as big as his deep bass voice..“Big Llou" is
one of Chicago's most sought after voice and on-camera talents.
Playing tenor sax since the age of 11 and reporting his high school news
from Chicago's WVON, performing has become 2nd nature to this former
talent agent. Big Llou has been in several stage plays and has
recorded hundreds of tv and radio spots for brands such as
White
Castle
, Kraft easy mac,
McDonalds and many more from his broadcast quality ISDN equipped studio.
His film credits include “Lets
go to Prison” both "Barbershop"
films and the recently released “Nothing Like the Holidays.
He has also appeared in such TV shows as “Ballers” on BET and
“Mix It Up” for Courtney Cox on the “WE” and as “Pete the
Horse” in the animated series “Jasper the Mule”.
Big
Llou has
performed overseas with his gospel quartet group “Phava”, The
Oak Park Concert Chorale, Sue Conway’s Victory Singers and
"A Piece of my Soul..the story of American Gospel". He
also perform on and co-produced "The
LongShot Sessions -The Soul of R&B" for DaMan Records and
sung with Polish vocalist/actor Dorota
Jarema on her CD “SONI” in Warsaw. He is also featured
on the folk music CD “Bound
to Go” with Chicago folk music icon Andrew Calhoun and is currently
working on his first solo CD project on the DaMan label.
